Vitiligo?: If all the pigment is gone within the patch, it is probably vitiligo. Other possibilities include exposure to a bleaching chemical, or a burn or acute rash that resolved, taking skin pigment with it. Treatment of vitiligo is difficult but possible. A dermatologist can help you confirm the diagnosis and suggest treatment.
