I am brca2 positive, what now?

Ask your testing doc: I am sorry to hear of your worrisome news. The risk of developing breast cancer is very high being positive brca2, over 50% chance by age 70 (risk of +brca1 is even higher). This also increases risk of ovarian cancer, but to lesser extent. I would suggest doing additional research and talk to your doc who ordered the test. You may be referred to a breast surgeon etc...I wish you the best of luck.
