Total femur: You would need either an adult reconstruction surgeon (total joint surgeon) or an orthopedic oncologist to do that surgery.

You will have to--: -seek out a large clinic like Mayo or the like. Campbell Clinic may have someone. You need to have a very serious problem, such as a large tumor that encompasses the entire femur, which has never been reported. Usually located at the end of long bones as in the femur @ the knee.indications for what you seek are not known to me. Good luck!

Are you sure?: Total femur replacement is a lot different than just the replacement of a hip or knee. Most replacements that are beyond that are done primarily in orthopedic oncology as limb salvage procedures. You could probably start by seeing a general orthopedic surgeon that does hip and knee replacements and if he feels like you need more than that, he can refer you to a subspecialist in your region.
