Several things: First, start with good daily cleansing with something for acne. Next, moisturizer with a product that also says it is for acne prone skin. Start at night using benzoyl peroxide and leave it on for a couple hours, working up till all night. Be sure to use non comedogenic make up.

Hard to say: There is a subset of the population that will continue to have acne well into their 30's. If you have tried over the counter products without acceptable results, seek the assistance of your doctor or a dermatologist. Acne varies in its form and management differs. Once you find a good daily routine, stay on it.
