Persistence: A 3 year old can wear a parent out on anything - they have nothing better to do with their life, so if they want something (to sleep in your bed) they usually have much more persistance and stamina to hold out than you do. When you decide enough is enough, you have to commit to never letting them come into your bed - even if it means you have to get up 100 times a night to put them back in theirs!

Are you & Dad ready?: When you stop rewarding his behavior by allowing him in your bed, you must ignore his protests, which increase in frequency & intensity at first, every night until he stays in his own bed.Tell him you'll read, kiss & leave him to fall asleep in his own bed & stay there till am.When he gets up, put him back to bed. Don't talk or make eye contact. Repeat till he "gets it." see aap.Org for more tips.
