A Bunch: Chiropractors limit (or should) their practice to manual manipulation of joints. Be wary of other "offerings" such as acupuncture, traction decompression, herbs and vitamins.

Be wary: Chiropractors believe in a false theory about disease causation from spinal dysfunction called "subluxation". They perform a vigorous massage to correct these "subluxations" but in fact do not correct or cure anything. The relief from the massage is short term and you need to come back all the time. Pain management docs use modern methods-see them first.
