Yes in the area of: The braces there is a huge black hole. So this causes some shading in your brain sometimes but generally we can do a rbrain and cspine mri. I think an MRI of the facial structures would be impacted by your braces. Certainly we cannot see the jaw well.

Yes: They will cause artifact, magnetic susceptibility artifact, on the images. Make sure the center and tech are made aware: if the technologist and radiologist are careful, they can minimize the artifact in order to obtain the best possible images for you.
