I have random bruising on my left leg. i know it's not from bumping into things. should i be concerned?

Depends: A single episode of bruising is not usually an issue. Repeittive brusing in various locations with minimal trauma may represent a blood problem with clotting. Chronic brusiing in a single location that does not resolve may represent an underling soy tissue tumor. If this occurs have it checked.
