Tricky O2: We get o2 by breathing in air that shares o2 with our bloodstream at the lung, and pumped to cells by our heart. Oxygen is necessary for cells to work. If we do not breathe or do not have our blood pumping this can lessen the amount of o2 we have for cells. Without o2 our cells can die. Slowing the work of cells can help protect them from damage from lack of o2, but prognosis is variable. Goodluck.
