Maca: The only concern is that it contains glucosinolates which can cause enlargement of the thyroid gland if consumed in high quantities, otherwise it is safe & helps elevate mood & enhance sexual performance.

Unknown : There not enough appropriate studies available to answer your question. Maca has hundreds of chemicals in it, whose effects are unknown relative to adhd or contraception. Most contraceptive manufactures warn against using herbal supplements since they may interfere with the effectiveness of the hormone. It's use is best avoided in your setting.
