A member asked:

I have some eye ointment that is three months old. is it okay if i use it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably: Most eye ointments have an expiration date about two years from time of purchase. Yours is almost certainly in that time frame if you got it three months ago. The date of expiration is found on the crimp at the bottom of the tube.
