It can be: If the infection spreads to the back of the throat, the ear canal drains in this area. The swelling from the infection can cause the ear canal to be blocked causing ear pain. Get treated asap for the tooth abscess. Good luck.

Abscess : Depending upon the location, severity and often times the duration of the abscess , yes it may. Have this addressed asap.
