why do i wake up most mornings with a headache?

Grinding?: Could be many causes. Duration, location and severity/intenesity are important. Morning headaches can be the result of grinding the teeth, tmj/tmd, sinus issues, hormone imbalance, etc. I would see a doctor if it persists.
