Vegetables and fruit: A diet with plenty of variety based on vegetables and fruit is the best. Although somewhat controversial, I am partial to organic as that will limit your exposure to pesticides. I recommend eating only whole grains, and not too many. Avoid processed foods, especially sodas. I prefer grass fed beef when you eat meat, it's higher in antiinflammatory omega 3 fatty acids.
