Water: Most common cause of leg or feet cramps are not enough water, potassium, calcium or electrolytes. Take 4 Tums (calcium carbonate) antiacids at night and see if it helps. Then eat 2 bananas before bed for the potassium. Drink lots of water during the day. Try selzer water for the quinine. Get a blood test to measure your levels of these chemicals. Finally, may be vascular problem.

If it is fatigue: You can brace the foot with an arch support while walking and keep a splint on the foot while resting. Vitamin deficiencies can be another cause of cramping.
