Yes: If you start experiencing weight gain with depakote, it is not unusual at all, but, beware, in most females, it gets worse. Maybe, find an alternative drug depending on why you take this. I have seen 25-30 lbs weight gain within one month, not typical, but nasty. Talk to your doctor.
