Can wisdom teeth erupting cause someone to have fevers?

Yes: If an infection develops then it can cause fever. Also the pain may cause you not to eat and drink adequately and the resulting dehydration will also contribute to developing a fever.

Occasionally: If there is an underlying infection or pericoronitis associated with the erupting wisdom tooth you could have a low grade fever.
