Yes: New bone called 'callus' usually forms over the fracture site to join the broken ends together. If the fracture fragments are not properly aligned or they heal at an angle then more callus may form to join the edges together. It varies therefore some times you may not feel any lump,, other times there are bigger lumps. They remodel over time so the lump should become smaller with time
