A member asked:

Is prilosec usually prescribed for a wrist injury?

9 doctors weighed in across 4 answers

Usually not.: Sometimes patients with wrist fractures are given pain medications that can cause an upset stomach. Medications that decrease stomach acid may occasionally be given, and these include prilosec.
