Risks of multiples: The risks of multiples are sobering. There is a higher risk of preterm labor and birth defects. Cerebral palsy is 6 times more common with multiples. High blood pressure and diabetes are common.

Serious risk : Serios risks to mom - eg blood pressure ; diabetes ; premature delivery; babioes born prematurely can have learning disorders; seizure abnormalities ; best to have one babay at a time ; other ]wise very close attention by OB doc.- but mnay twins ; triplets etc many of the babieswill do ok
