Usually a few days: In infertility treatments, Progesterone suppositories are used to supplement or to replace natural progesteorne production (which may be inadequate in many types of treatment). Treatment with suppositories begins only after ovulation (release of an egg) has occurred, or after egg retrieval in ivf cycles. If you don't conceive, your period will usually begin 2-5 days after stopping treatment.
