A doctor has provided 1 answer

MRSA: This organism can produce multiple recurrences and is difficult to eradicate. See your doctor. If you are a nasal carrier the bug is also on your skin, and any break, however small, in the surface may induce reinfection. You can be treated with Mupirocin (bactroban) nasal ointment and with chlorhexidine-containing soap to attempt to eliminate the carriage of this (50% success).
