Yes: Being active and healthy may in fact improve fertility if you are overweight/obese. However, if you exercise to the point where your body mass index (bmi) drops below a healthy level, this may affect your menstrual cycles and impair your fertility.

Yes: It is all about balance. A study looked at the effect exercise habits had on ivf. It found that women who said they worked out regularly were no more likely to conceive than women who said they never worked out. But women who reported that they worked out four or more hours per week, were 40% less likely to have a live birth from ivf. Excessive exercise can have an impact on menses and success.
