Up To You: Ultimately it depends on you. When you get stressed out from not conceiving then you should seek care. At any age if you have been trying for over a year then it is a cause for concern. If you are over age 35, especially 38-40 then after 6 months it is a cause for concern. The concern is really trying to identify a reason and then helping overcome that reason!

If you are worried: Failing to conceive when you want to is something to research and educate yourself about. Any time you think there is a problem is the right time to ask questions and seek answers. See a specialist in the field, a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist.
