Full evaluation: The most common problem is not getting your questions answered. If you are under 35 and have tried for a year, or over 35 and 6 months, or anytime if you are concerned about menstrual cycles or male factor, seek advice of a specialist in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Pursue good health, nutrition, and stress reduction. And if you are in one, take care of your relationship!

Assigning causes: A common pitfall is to not try long enough. Another common pitfall is to assume that it is a problem with the woman. A third is to not get medical help after trying unsuccessfully for a year or so.
