Multiple conditions: Untreated allergic rhinitis and obstruction especially at night causes snoring, which when severe can lead to sleep apnea.Childhood mouth breathing causes orthodonture problems. Also allergic rhiinits leads to increased sinus and ear infections and possibly asthma. Uncontrolled allergic rhinitis affects the quality of life as it affects sleep, and quality of sleep, impairs daytime activiities.
