Depends: If the vision is diminished by a need for glasses, then get them or contacts. If there is disease, the it should be treated. Some things cannot be treated like neglected disease or hereditary problems. See your ophthalmologist for a diagnosis.

Better vision: This is a very general question. Getting glasses or contact lenses of tge best prescription if needed will maximize your vision. Laser surgery can also be considered to eliminate your prescription.
