Too early to tell.: When the gestational sac is seen but no yolk sac or embryo is visualized three possibilities exist: normal early intrauterine pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy with intrauterine pseudosac, missed abortion (sac >2.5-3.0 cm). Serial beta HCG determination in your blood and transvaginal sonography will help your physician tell the one from the other. Take Folic Acid 1-5 mg daily and best of luck!

Follow up : In early pregnancy, it is not uncommon for the fetal pole to not be visible. The standard recommendation is for a follow up scan in 1 week. If you begin having pain in the meantime, you should see a doctor.
