If you start to see some fatty tissue in your wound from an lap appendectomy and it is oozing and with a slight touch it opens what do i do?

Talk to your doc!: Seriously! talk to the surgeon who did your surgery and ask him/her what you need to do. S/he is responsible for your care, not some anonymous doctor across the pacific! typically, i always tell my patients to ask questions before surgery about complications, etc. But i suspect your appendectomy was emergent so you probably didn't have much time. Bottom line: go ask your surgeon.

Port site: The laprascopic port sites are 5 to10 mm wounds. Sounds as though the skin edges separated on one. Ok to wash, shower, sponge bathe. Then hair dryer area. Cover with dry gauze. Make sure you show wound to your surgeon at your post op visit.
