Needs antibiotics: Infection common with any bite. Seek medical help. If not available , clean as well as possible and use topical antibiotics 2-3times a day.

Have her read this: I don't know when this was written. Hogs have tremendously powerful jaws. It sounds like there may be a crush injury. Your friend may need tetanus shot, antibiotics or surgical intervention. Was it a wild or a domestic hog? Hogs are usually pretty aggressive by nature but if it was uncoordinated it could even be rabid. Please show this to your friend so that she understands how serious this is.
