Can watching a lot of tv or using the computer increase the risk astigmatism?

No: Using your eyes will not change your glasses prescription. Eyes slowly change shape over time but the causes for this are undetermined. There is no relationship between activities using the eyes (like reading, using the computer and so forth) and the type or amount of change.
