Yes: Different people have differing sensitivities to blood sugar changes. If it drops below 70 some people will get hypoglycemic feeling other can wait to below 40. It all depends on your genetics and level of activity and diet.

After neonatal : After the neonatal stage, for non-pregnant individuals all blood sugars fall under the same categorization for normal. Fasting serum glucose should be between about 65-99 mg/dl and 2 hours following a meal or oral glucose tolerance test, normal serum blood sugar should be less than 140 mg/dl.

A 48-year-old member asked:
Can you guys tell me how bad will it change my blood sugar level if i was 2 hours longer in the fasting procedure?

Since I don't: Understand your question it's hard to answer. If you were fasting and had fasted two hours longer, it probably wouldn't have made a significant difference in your blood sugar -- provided you're talking about a fast of over 6 or more hours. Your body has mechanisms to keep your sugar normal unless you have diabetes or other significant problem.

Need more info: There are a lot of variables. How often are you having ow sugars & how low? Are you on insulin & what types? Are you on oral medications (sometimes it can be harder to treat lows in people on oral medications)? How is your kidney & liver function? For now get glucose tabs & take up to 3 & a Rx for glucagon pens which fix lows fast & inc sugar sig . After one of these eat protein to keep sugar up.
