Yes: You may make a basic mouthwash: 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 3 drops peppermint essential oils. Mix all ingredients in a glass jar and shake well. Swish in mouth, then spit out. Store on bathroom counter.

Not the best one: You can reinvent the wheel if you want to, but there are huge corporations who have spent millions of dollars on research and development to discover what makes a good mouthwash. At some point you do have to surrender and recognize that they have probably come up with some tried and true answers. Look for a mouth rinse with a seal of approval from the american dental association, and start there dr. Neil mcleod dds dentistry that lasts - quality that counts.
