Go to Doctor: You might be having dental abscess or sinus infection, both require specific antibiotics, waiting and trying to cure it on your own will only make it worse.

Gum disease: I will address gum disease, but see a dentist! periodontists & dentists will treat first with a scaling & root planing procedure. If this first step fails to inactivate the periodontal disease, additional scaling & root planing & adding laser treatment may be used. A surgical procedure may be needed if these treatments do not inactivate it. Quarterly periodontal maintenance cleanings are a must.

See below: Are you under the care of a periodontist? You shouldn't be experiencing pain if you are under the care of a qualified specialist.

See your dentist: Tooth pain from gum disease can only be treated fully by a dentist. You can floss and brush better but the deeper infection will need professional help. In the meantime, try an otc like zila with Benzocaine and rub that on your gums. It will numb the area topically for about 15 minutes at a time. Alternating 600mg of ibuprofin with extra strength Aspirin or tylenol (acetaminophen) every 4 hours or longer.

Not DIY: This is not a do it yourself project. You need to see a periodontist (gum specialist) and an otolaryngologist (ear/nose?Throat specialist). Ask your general dentist and your general physician for referrals. Let them treat you to eliminate disease, and teach you how to then remain healthy. There's no pill, salve, spray, adjustment, herb, or incantation that will help. Go get professional help.
