How do i ease pain caused by an old foot fracture?

Old foot fracture: The fracture may have caused an injury to a joint. Sometimes you may need surgery to fix the pain. If the foot is stabilized during gait it the pain may go away or decrease. This can be done with a pair of orthotics.

Depends: If the fracture involved a joint, it may have led to arthritic changes. Treatment could include medication like ibuprofen, bracing or surgical treatment.

See a professional: Treatment depends of the location and type of injury. X-rays will help determine the if there is a re-injury. You may need to have the area immobilized and you may need surgery. Seek professional advice.
