Infection!: Reactive arthritis is usually caused by venereal infection with chlamydia and some other agents, or GI infection with salmonella, yersinia, and other organisms. However, systemic infectionscan do this as well - lyme disease! reactive arthritis has even been described as coming from the most common infection causing acne!
