Metastasis: I assume that retinoblastoma (RB) has been identified in a child of yours or that you know. The extent of the tumor in the eye can be seen by the ophthalmologist who has made the diagnosis. A CT scan is used to see if there is spread beyond the eye, especially behind the eye as this area cannot be seen by direct observation
