Depakote Weight Gain: Depakote can certainly contribute to weight gain. You should talk to your doctor about this. Weight gain occurs with many treatments for bipolar, but there are some that are less likely to do so, and there is individual variation (you might be more sensitive to one medicine than another). Working with your doctor is very important. You can find a regimen that works for you!
