Inflammation: Gastritis is inflammation of the stomach (see: http://sgoti.Ws/zotkqv). It sounds like you had an endoscope showing esophageal basal hyperplasia, which is increased cellular growth. Look at the pathology report, assuming you had a biopsy. Symptoms like these deserve a full evaluation in person by your health care provider.
