YES: But the obvious question is "why would you be having unprotected sex with somebody who is likely to be infected?" not a bad idea to insist upon protected sex until you are with a steady partner and both of you have been widely tested and trust each other. By the way, please go get tested for other stds. When you have one there is a high likelihood of having more than one.
