Sclerotherapy: Sclerotherapy is apparently the most reliable way to treat small surface veins on the legs. Before treatment one should be evaluated for the presence of abnormalities in deeper vessels transmitting pressure to the surface. For best results, these (if present) should also be treated.

Injection/laser: These are called telangiectasias and are due to many causes...Threatment consists of laser energy applied to the 'spiders' and combined with injection therapy of the underlying veisn should resolve these cosmetic issues.

Several ways: Best is saline injections, or other injections, if very small, laser may be better. Would see a dermatologist.

A number of ways: Sclerotherapy (injections) are felt to work best although saline might not be the best sclerosant (injected chemical) choice. There are a number of things that can be injected. Very small thread veins can also be treated with energy, such as with a cutaneous laser and rf thermocoagulation. I would see a vein specialist or a dermatologist who has a special interest in treating veins.
