Many test: We do a number of tests to measure physical qualities of the eye like corneal shape and thickness, refractive error and visual acuity. We also take a thorough history, discuss treatment goals and the risks and benefits of the surgery as they pertain to each patient.

LASIK: Patients are evaluated with technologies that determine the thickness and shape of the cornea, as well as the refractive error of a patient. Testing is relatively straight forward to determine whether a patients is a candidate for lasik.
