Yes: The chemicals in turmeric might decrease swelling (inflammation). Turmeric is a plant. You probably know turmeric as the main spice in curry. Turmeric is used for arthritis, heartburn (dyspepsia), stomach pain, diarrhea, intestinal gas, stomachbloating, loss of appetite, jaundice, liver problems and gallbladder disorders.Do not over use becuase they have also side effects.

It is reported to ^ Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor which might help w brain functioning & v risk of some brain conditions such as Alzheimer's. It may help w treatment of arthritis & is reported to have anti-carcinogenic effects.
