Arthroscopic repair: The rotator cuff is a group of four tendons that coalesce together to form a cuff. Usually the supraspinatus tendon is the one that's torn. It's repaired to the bone where it belongs to an area called the greater tuberosity, with suture anchors. The surgery he's usually done arthroscopically. Depending on the size of the tear it can take about an hour to 1 1/2 hours to perform surgery.
