Cramping & Spotting: A dilation & currettage (D&C) may cause mild cramping and spotting & this should not be severe. Ibuprofen usually works well & your discomfort should only last a few days. Call your doc if pain increases, increased bleeding, fevers, foul-smelling discharge, or if you don't improve as expected. Take care.
