Depends: It depends on why you are having pt. You may have a neurologic conditon that is causing some of your problems. You may have an electrolyte issues such as abnormal calcium, magnesium or potassium. You may just have poor conditioning and the work load you are doing is stimulating sick muscles and in turn, they cramp. Work with your doctor and therapist.
