Probably nothing.: Definitely not a pta, especially if you aren't having any symptoms of fever or severe pain. Hard to say without looking at it, but they may be a collection of blood vessels that are often seen on the surface of the tonsil. If the swelling doesn't improve or one tonsil stays larger than the other, get it looked at by an ent.
