A member asked:

What is treatment for bartters syndrome

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Long answer: Bartter's syndrome is an inherited defect in how the kidney handles salt and potassium. Sodium and potassium supplements (maybe calcium and magnesium too) are needed to keep everything in balance. Blood pressure medications are used to help correct the kidney problems. No heavy exercise so you do not become dehydrated. That can cause worse problems with salt & potassium. Eat potassium rich foods.
