Hip pain: The hip area is complicated. Hip pain while weight bearing can be from the hip joint itself, the surrounding muscles, tendons and bursa. Can also be referred from the back, sacroiliac joint, or pelvis. A good history and examination will help figure this out for you.

See your doctor: You could have a host of issues that could cause your hip pain, could be bursitis, tendonitis, arthritis, ligament issues, labral injury, sciatica etc. So you may want to see an orthopedic pain specialist that can tell you what is going and help you with the latest treatments or exercise therapies available.
