Ocular Allergies: Ocular allergies can be treated by avoiding your known causes(modifying your environment), using artificial tears (dilutional treatment), or by taking antihistamine eye drops. The latter can be prescribed by md, and some are available over the counter. The latter include zaditor, (ketotifen) alaway, Claritin eye drops, and zyrtec eye drops to name a few. Oral antihistamines do not seem to be as satisfying.
